I am increasingly finding it hard to build in community with queer monogamous folk. Even as they believe they espouse ideas about liberation, they work to police intimacy and those two actions are fundamentally incommensurate.

Oh, so practicing monogamy is OK, but it’s the incredibly toxic culture around it that’s the problem. Is this systemic, like racism? It’s likely that the white colonizers who largely practiced monogamy are the ones who built the culture we all live in today. Do we need to do away with romantic capitalism and replace it with romantic socialism? We need more information.
