It’s very likely that the Republicans will gain control of the House as soon as snail-paced counts in some areas around the country are concluded. Control of the Senate could depend on the runoff election in Georgia between Herschel Walker and Raphael Warnock next month (pending the outcomes of the Arizona and Nevada Senate races).
If the Republicans end up not controlling the Senate, CNN’s Chris Cillizza points to who some people might blame:
If Republicans don’t retake control of the Senate, expect a whole lot of blame to fall on JD Vance in Ohio.
McConnell super PAC had to spend $30+ million to win a state where Trump had won by 8 in 2016 and 2020.
